Our New Year retreat starts on Monday, December 30th, and we are so excited to gather with you to chant, reflect, and recharge in the spiritual wonderland of New Vrindaban.
We have sessions lined up for you that will educate, inspire, and uplift you. Here is some information for you to prepare for your time with us.
If you need a ride from the Pittsburgh Airport, please make your request via text to Jayasri at 304-218-0997 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The cost for one-way transportation is $95.00, which can be divided between 1-4 persons, depending on the amount of luggage included.
Please check in after 3pm on Monday, December 30th, and attend the 5pm Yoga class and opening circle. Dinner maybe purchased at the restaurant.
Throughout the week, we will have yoga classes, time with cows, outdoor walks, a cooking class, kirtan, and a special fire/yajna ceremony!
On Tuesday, New Year’s Eve, we will have a four-hour kirtan up to midnight.
On Wednesday—New Year’s Day, we will have a special fire yajna to set the intentions of the new decade. You will receive the most updated itinerary upon your arrival.
We are pleased to announce that all the yoga classes will be conducted by our very own Nikunja Vilasini—a seasoned and dedicated yoga practioner
This retreat is designed for you to reflect on what bhakti means to you.
We will learn mantras and songs that open our heart, and we will connect with nature and cows.
You might consider asking yourself during your retreat:
How can I be of service?
What does love ask of me?
What does compassion look like?
What can I let go of?
How can I live more simply?

We will provide wholesome vegetarian meals for you, lovingly prepared by our chefs and offered to Krishna. We encourage you to support our restaurant by purchasing dinner there.

What to Pack
Please pack for the snow and rain (25-40 degree weather): layers, a jacket/coat, warm socks, hat, gloves, and boots, maybe clothes you might get dirty in the cow barn.
Feel free to bring indoor slippers/socks, as we do not wear shoes in the Lodge or the practice rooms.
Bring yoga clothes and yoga mat, if you prefer your own. We do have yoga mats available.
You may also want to bring a journal. Please bring your own toiletries.
The sun rises around 7:40am and sets around 5pm. You may want to pack a flashlight or headlamp.
Please bring a water bottle—we have a state of the art water filtration system so you can fill your bottles with water. Please also pack a thermos or insulated water bottle so you can fill with hot water or tea.
Cell Phone & Wi-fi
We invite you to turn your phone and computer off this weekend so that you can drop in to the land, your Self, and each other.
Cell phone receptivity is spotty.
Free Wifi is available throughout the property.
We encourage you to work with the cows and help with cleanup after meals and classes. Seva is our practice of generosity and selflessness.
